Fee: £41.21 per hour. Travel contributions are available.
The DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) is currently looking to recruit an experienced and innovative Tutor to deliver regular weekly teaching work (PAYE contract) on Saturdays during term time. The successful candidate will join a core team of expert tutors to deliver innovative dance training to young dancers who display exceptional potential and passion for dance.
With a track record of delivering high-quality dance training, the ideal candidate will possess professional dance training at conservatoire, degree level or equivalent. They will demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to delivering dance technique to a range of abilities and ages, including students with limited experience and those with exceptional talent. They will be experienced of working with young dancers with a range of dance abilities, with a strong understanding of their training and developmental needs.
Completed applications must arrive at DanceEast by 10am on Tuesday 1st February. Successful applicants will be invited to interview and be observed teaching a contemporary technique class to the DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training students at the Jerwood DanceHouse, on a Saturday in February. The contract will start on Saturday 6 March 2022, but there may be some handover/introduction days prior to the start date.

To note, our current CAT Tutors travel from across the East, London and further afield to deliver on the DanceEast CAT, and travel expenses are provided.
