@transitionsdc with @get_repost ・・・ Introducing our ninth company member, Anoushka Jago 🌵🌵🌵 ———————————————————— Anoushka grew up in South East London surrounded by an array of cultures, art and interesting people. These things captivated her attention from a very early age and have been a motivating force for her since. In 2013 she joined Trinity Laban’s Centre for Advanced Training and the National Youth Dance Company working with Akram Khan to create and tour The Rashomon Effect. The following year, Anoushka continued her studies at Northern School of Contemporary Dance where she graduated from the Foundation Course, with the Performer’s Prize. Anoushka’s further studies took her to Israel where she attended the International Dance Journey Programme with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. Following her training in Israel, she travelled to Italy where she studied at Nuova Officina della Danza (NOD). Anoushka was grateful to receive scholarships for both of these international opportunities. Returning to England in 2017 she participated in a JVIntensive before becoming a member of Jasmin Vardimon 2 (2017/2018). Anoushka feels very lucky to be able to continue her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire with the support of the Headley Trust Award and the Trinity Laban Dance Award. Photo credit: Chris Nash
