National Youth Dance Company (NYDC), by Sadler’s Wells, have embarked on a national tour with brand-new work Memory Keepers by Guest Artistic Directors Sadé and Kristina Alleyne. Co-Artistic Directors of the award-winning Alleyne Dance.
NYDC 2025/26 cohort includes 32 dancers aged between 16 and 24 years old hailing from 25 towns, cities and villages across England. 11 of those are also National CAT students, from Fabric, NSCD, Lowry, Dancecity, Trinity Laban and Swindon Dance CAT programmes.
NYDC dancers are mentored during four intensive residencies in school holidays to create and rehearse work for tour. We are proud to support some of our CAT students to take up the incredible opportunity to be part of NYDC whilst continuing their ongoing training on their CAT programme.
The company are part way through their tour with dates at AMATA Falmouth in Cornwall, Sadler’s Wells East in London, and The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry still to come.
