This online session aimed at dance teachers and those who support dancers, who want a basic introduction to the topic of growth and maturation and its implications or those who feel they would benefit from an update on their knowledge in this area. The 1-hour session includes:
- An overview of the biological basis for change
- Introduction to physiological and psychological development in the dance context
- A review of practical implications in the dance studio
- Information about the DanceEast CAT and how we can work together to support young dancers in the region.
The session will be led by Dr Siobhan Mitchell (University of Exeter).
Suitable for group leaders, dance teachers, private ballet schools, and anyone else who works with young dancers.
