DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training Coordinator
Salary: £21,165 pa
DanceEast is looking for a dynamic and responsible Coordinator to support the administration and development of the DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training (CAT). The post will primarily support day to day operations of the CAT programme including operational responsibilities as well as ongoing support for students and families, tutors, musicians, and external partners
Based in the purpose-built Jerwood DanceHouse on the Ipswich waterfront, the CAT Coordinator will form a central part of the small, fast-paced team responsible for the development and delivery of the core CAT programme, within the wider Creative Team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to an exciting and specialist area of dance education and training, and the development of young dance artists.
Applicants should be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience and have strong administrative and communication skills, as well as a positive attitude and problem-solving approach. Experience of working with young people in a dance setting is desirable.
